As a native of Cincinnati, It’s an honor to have my work included in the book The Cincinnati Anthology. This compilation of writings and visual art brings together some of Cincinnati’s most notable residents—native sons and daughters creatives and contemplators—in order to tell the stories of the city, its triumphs and its troubles. In addition to the book editor of the book, Zan McQuade is curating an exhibition at Harvest Gallery that will feature artwork by some of the visual artists and writers who have told their personal story. For the past four years I have had the honor and privilege as the art instructor for the Castle Connections after school program at Mt Washington School. To support the after school program, Castle Connections is having their Second Silent Art Auction! You can support the Castle Connections after school program by biding on student made artwork! Works of art will be on display and open for bidding in the front entrance of Mt Washington School from April 7th – Friday April 11th. Bidding will close Friday night April 11th after Family Fun Night which is from 6 – 8 pm!
