On Fri 24 Apr, 6-8pm, please join me at Village Floral Design for Art with Blooms, an evening of great art, food and wine! I will have new paintings from 2009 on display along with new prints of older pieces. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres with wine pairings will be presented by chef Gaetano Williams, former Executive Chef of McCormick and Schmicks. I’m gearing up for my second exhibit at Maison Rouge Gallery in Chicago, IL. This group exhibit is a celebration of Black History Month with the works of eight African American artists, including Charles Lindsey, Preston Jackson, Tony Smith, Maurice Wilson, Floyd Atkins, Jonathon Romain, and Barry Moton. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday February 21st, 2009, 5pm-9pm.
