Cincinnati Contemporary Artist: Back to School

This past fall I had the privilege and honor to visit Westwood Elementary School and Mt. Airy Middle School as a guest artist. At Westwood Elementary I was the instructor for the Cincy AfterSchool Art Club. For four weeks I worked with students on lessons in drawing, painting and collage.

At Mt. Airy I gave a series of lectures to 6th 7th and 8th graders about my work as a Visual artist for Mt. Airy Career Day

When I was in elementary school art was the one thing that allowed me to be able to meet new people who I would have never had met. It was a way for me to share my thoughts and make new friends. It’s a Blessing That I have a gift to create art, but in order for me to hold on to my gift I need to share it. Thank you, Westwood Elementary and Mt. Airy Middle School, for allowing me to share with you this fall. I can’t wait to see you again.
