It’s an honor to participate in SOS 2012 a community art show of creative expressions for peace and justice curated by Saad Ghosn. Included in this exhibition, which features well over 100 artists, is the artwork from the student’s, I teach a Mt Washington’s Castle Connections after school program and Kennedy Heights Arts Center. From personal/domestic issues concerning drugs to global concerns on war and the environment, the students at Mt Washington and the Kennedy Heights Arts Center created vivid works that express what’s going on in their world and beyond. A special thanks to all my students for doing such great work. The exhibition will open June 1st from 6pm – 12 am at the Art Academy of Cincinnati 1212 Jackson St, downtown OTR Cincinnati. The exhibition will run through June 10th.
