I’m gearing up for my second exhibit at Maison Rouge Gallery in Chicago, IL. This group exhibit is a celebration of Black History Month with the works of eight African American artists, including Charles Lindsey, Preston Jackson, Tony Smith, Maurice Wilson, Floyd Atkins, Jonathon Romain, and Barry Moton. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday February 21st, 2009, 5pm-9pm.

I am honored to be included in the upcoming exhibit at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center in Cincinnati, OH, entitled Prelude 2009: The Human Spirit Revealed. Curated by Barbara Gamboa, the invitational exhibit also includes work by Deborah Davidson, Sarah Gallant, Barbara Gamboa, Saad Ghosn, Jim Hasse, Robert Harris, Brian Joiner, Reginald Leary, Cynthia Lockhart, Robert J. Morris, Robert O’Neal, Thomas Phelps, Rebeca Pitman, and Kurt Storch. It runs from January 17 through February 14, 2009. A public reception to celebrate the opening of the exhibit is January 17 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
