In addition to being one of the teaching artist in the Taft Museum of Art’s ARC (artist reaching classrooms) program where I tour local high schools around the city, I recently presented some of my favorite art educational experiences and lessons along with examples of my students artwork to teachers and assisting teaching staff for the Cincinnati Public Schools in service day. The program took place in the Charles H. Dater educational room in the Taft Museum of Art. Over 45 public school teachers from over 20 different schools participated and created some remarkable art work. Thank you Taft Museum and Cincinnati Public Schools for allowing me to be your guest and share my work and the work of my students.
Awesome, Cedric!
I wish I had known about this event. I would have loved to be there. Cedric you are doing great things with kids. And I have to get you next year for ARC at Lakota. Hope to talk to you one of these days.
