Oak Hills Elementary Students Reconstructing and Deconstructing their Community

Thank you Maria Shorten visual artists/educator and her wonderful third grade class at Oak Hills elementary school for inviting me to stop by and visit with you earlier this year. It was a blast sharing with the students my inspirations and latter inspiring them with their next project. After my visit students started their creative endeavor of reconstructing and deconstructing their community through cardboard shapes. Wow! Can I steel your idea? Canvas is out Cardboard is in. Check out the pictures of their amazing work and the pictures from my visit, where students had a chance to preview some of my works in progress. Thanks again Maria and the students of Oak Hills Elementary.
